Top British Master Saddler to Offer Custom Fitting Saddle Services
Hastilow Competition Saddles announces its custom fitting saddle services at Windy Hollow Farm on November 11, 2000, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and extending throughout most of the day. A top British Master Saddler will provide a free analysis of your saddles. Any adjustments, however, will be made for a fee. They will also be showcasing their own line of saddles, which offer a custom fit for both rider and horse. For more information and to notify Hastilow of your interest to attend, please contact Annette Gavin at 717-294-6757.

Hastilow Competition Saddles was founded by Ian Hastilow and Sarah Bowler, an avid equestrian, approximately 17 years ago. They manufacture saddles to fit both the horse and the rider, and have done so for many of the equestrians representing the United Kingdom, including Olympian Ian Stark and dressage rider Lizzie Lorristone-Clarke. Their business has grown to encompass travel to international clients, including those of the United States, South Africa, Sweden, and Germany. In addition to saddles, they manufacture bridles, halters, and various saddle accessories. The prices are reasonable, and often comparable, if not better, than “off-the-shelf” saddles here in the States.

Windy Hollow Farm is located in Damascus, Maryland, at 11415 Bethesda Church Road off of Route 27. It is a boarding, training, and sales facility with two large barns, two outdoor arenas, and one large indoor arena, as well as over 300 acres of trails. For more information about the farm or for directions, please contact Sheri Thornley or Lori Walck at 301-253-9417.
