Important Jocky/Person Hurt
Kara Capatrick
Horse injuries are common. But, not all cases are documented. Especially when a human is injured on a horse.

The leader of Brent Council is in hospital after she cracked two vertebrae while horse riding, this is in England.

Cllr Ann John was enjoying a holiday in Wales when she had to be taken to Abergavenny hospital by air ambulance.

She was riding. Everything was fine, until the pain in her back became uncomfortable and intolarable.

A catscan found two cracks in her spine, an old one caused by a horse riding accident several years ago, and a fresh one sustained just recently.

She is currently in a Welsh hospital bed, unable to sit up because of the extreme pain in her back. Doctors are awaiting further scan results before deciding how to treat her.

If the crack is stable they can put her in a surgical corset, which would allow her to sit up.

If it proves to be burst, she will have to spend several more weeks confined to her bed, unable to return to London.
